Is Insurance Accepted at Your Practice?

What if I Have Insurance That is Not Accepted, and I Still Want to Be Seen at the Practice?

It is recommended that you contact your insurance company to inquire about out-of-network (OON) benefits.  If your policy has an OON provision, you may be able to receive reimbursement for a certain percentage of the outlay after you submit a healthcare receipt.  In this case, you can still receive treatment however, you would have to pay for the services rendered upfront and await reimbursement from the insurance company.  

A superbill is a receipt that details the type of session, date and length of the services rendered as well as the practice’s credentials.  At the end of each month, you would receive a superbill sent to you.  You would then submit the superbill to your insurance company and request reimbursement.


If your policy does not include OON benefits, you will not receive reimbursement for the services rendered.

What is Your Cash Fee?

Individual sessions are:  $200
Couples sessions are*:   $250 
Group sessions are:         $50

*These sessions are specifically for couples dealing with challenges related to pregnancy loss and infertility.

Will I Receive a Good Faith Estimate?

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.


●    You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
●    Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
●    If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
